Client Brief

Beachcroft were aiming to integrate new staff in their Newcastle office with existing staff from other offices in Bristol, London & Winchester. They requested a fun-filled and laid back event at a Central England venue that would encourage all employees from the different locations to get to know each other and communicate better.

Chillisauces thinking

Chillisauce suggested a full day Commercial Break at a luxury hotel in Warwickshire for the day time activity followed by a Casino themed evening.

We chose Commercial Break as it encourages communication and plenty of teamwork with business relevance. It allows the team to look behind the scenes of the world of television and advertising and gives them a chance to shoot their own television commercial, whilst creating a unique teambuilding experience.

We chose a Casino Themed evening as a fun and relaxed, dip in, dip out evening where colleagues could enjoy themselves and mingle together.

The Finer Details

The morning was spent pitching ideas for adverts and the afternoon was spent filming adverts with a prize giving for the best team.

The Casino evening consisted of three Casino tables, dinner, a disco, fake money and theming to continue with the ‘fun factor’ of the event.

Feedback on the event

‘I and my partner colleagues considered the event to be a complete success, on the formal front it met with all of the objectives that we had set, but more to the point it exceeded our expectations in terms of the fun element (one of the objectives of course) and the integration of the teams from our various offices (another objective).

We have held an event annually for the whole of the practice group but I can not remember a time when I received so much positive feedback and individual thank you’s from the people involved. I thought your team were very friendly and helpful and just what was required on the day and throughout I felt that as the “organiser” on site I had lots of communication and support, from you and your team.

The evening was also a great success and I believe thoroughly enjoyed by all. In the past we have had groups of people leave to go and find their own entertainment elsewhere at local clubs etc and on this occasion everyone stayed, mingled and thoroughly enjoyed and again I received a lot of very positive feedback and again lots of communication with your evening team.

A bit of a thrill seeker at heart, she enjoys travelling and the likes of diving, surfing and even climbing the odd active volcano or two.

Brief

Research in Motion enquired to Chillisauce about organising an event for their staff near to their offices in Slough. The event would follow a pre-organised day of addressing business issues and planning for 2009. They wanted the day to incorporate fun filled activities whilst getting their staff out of the office and working together in teams.

Chillisauces thinking

Chillisauce suggested The Crystal Challenge activity as it incorporates a range of fun filled physical, mental and skill based team work activities. It also encourages the group to consider leadership skills, levels of involvement and engagement, co-operation and team play.

We chose an activity centre in Chalfont near to Slough for the convenient location and fabulous amenities.

The Finer Details

The group took part in five activities in the morning session followed by lunch. In the afternoon they took part in three more activities before the Crystal Dome Finale and prize giving ceremony.  The activities that were arranged for the group were:

Asda wanted help organising an event to reward their team and get people together who don’t see each other on a regular basis.  They wanted a full day of outdoor activities followed by a fun themed interactive evening to encourage socialising.

Our Thinking

We suggested a full day Crystal Challenge event at a beautiful luxury hotel located near to ASDA’s head office. We suggested a Wild West Themed Night with a Dj and disco, finishing off with accommodation at the hotel.

The Finer Details

We chose the venue due to its fantastic grounds and private function rooms for the evening. We chose the Crystal Challenge as it creates a great, unique environment for staff to get together outside of the office. The variety of tasks in the Crystal Challenge gets staff working together effectively, thinking laterally and encourages them to reverse roles throughout the day.

Client Feedback

Thanks for all your help with organising the event last week, it really was enjoyed by all. It was well organised, ran to time throughout the day and handled by a tremendously professional team. The venue was also excellent, perfect for access to the motorway and good quality food and rooms.

Client brief

Accenture enquired to Chillisauce about holding an event to reward 14 of their staff that had recently won a sales incentive. The challenge was to find an exciting activity that aligned with their health and safety values. Accenture wanted the activity to have a “Wow” factor.

Our thinking

Chillisauce suggested a full day bespoke cookery lesson with Jean Christophe Novelli’s Head Chef at the Novelli Academy in his 14th Century Hertfordshire farmhouse. We also organised dinner and an overnight stay at the 5* luxury Luton Hoo Hotel

The finer details

The guests enjoyed a champagne reception, gorgeous lunch with wine and hands on cooking. They even got a visit from Jean Christophe himself on the day. Staff were rewarded and motivated throughout the day with an experience they will remember. They also learned new cooking skills to take home.
